Kevin Durant’s Dilemma

Kevin Durant’s dilemma, Kyrie Irving, Ben Simmons seems like a possibility that you should pursue. The Harden-Simmons trade, gave some hope to the Nets of having a super team early this year in February. Simmons just has to get his head on straight, Kyrie, needs to make some soul searching to get his head into the games all 82 of them. Durant has to feel confident that both these guys are committed to winning.

As it stands, Kevin wants out, the Nets are looking ship out Kyrie, and Ben Simmons; who knows! This state of shambles, would probably leave everyone in despair. All of the other pieces set in place, and these guys stay would be a juggernaut in the Eastern Conference, nobody would be able to touch. I heard one sports announcer display the thought, that all 3 need to sit down with each other and decide if they are committed.  Kevin wants to be traded to a potential winner. Kyrie signed, but are you getting the same guy who barely showed during the 2021-2022 season. Simmons, has game, and especially the defensive talent that I think is unstoppable. Yes he needs to work on free throws, and his courage to go to the basket. Simmons had a bad series when he was with the Sixers and they were beat by Atlanta. That can happen! What shouldn’t have happened afterward was his team who were just as bad in performance throw him under the bus. That team should have lobbied together and supported each other. The Nets got these pieces now, and should execute this plan with Durant, Irving and Simmons in tow. The Nets are trying to honor Durant’s request, but at the end of the day to honor that; some poor team is going to take a shellacking on their picks and finances. Don’t get me wrong, Kevin Durant is a hell of a player, but he is long in the tooth, and will just cost too much.
