Corona Virus CoVid-19 Shutting down everything and can you imagine back in January we would be where we are at today. The big kicker started with the NBA wanting to play games in an empty arena, but that changed shortly once Rudy Gobert was diagnosed with this disease. In the midst of starting the late games on Wednesday night, the NBA decided to shut it all down for a while, by declaring they would suspend the League’s play. Wow! Okay that was a kicker, but then several other leagues started to think this out and decided to either postpone, or either suspend operations until more could be determined of what CoVid-19 is all about. Later it was noted that Donovan Mitchell had contracted the virus. Noting that he had contracted it, it seemed to send a signal to other public events that included sports, as well as concerts being suspended. It appears as though no one want to take the chance. The stock market took it’s usual dive, and this time it topped the numbers that were executed during the housing crisis back in 08. The government handling of this has not been at it’s best. The media is running amuck with the news; Tom and Rita Hanks were diagnosed with this in Australia and now they are under quarantine. At this point and time it would be a great idea for these sport teams to get tested, why awaiting more information on how this virus works. Every day the new cycle has a new person of prestige or importance that they are infected with this virus.
Elderly folks have just about been quarantined on their own, as they biggest piece of information that could be furnished is that this is the group that the virus hits severely. The items that should keep you safe such as washing your hands, frequently. Keep your hands away from your face and avoid folks that are coughing seem to be regular hygiene habits that we should be using routinely anyway. You have some folks acting like this is the regular common cold. If you should have doubt weather it is or isn’t, I would strongly advise you to err to the side of caution.
The long term affect is the economy, but that is not important as your health. Look at the repercussion already. How about the sound engineers who were ready to do a concert. They will not be getting paid. How about the folks that support the sporting arena’s and also the concert goers-they won’t be getting paid. Folks are starting to no frequent the malls as much. So back before 911, remember when you could walk your son or daughter to the waiting area to say your good byes. Some of your civil liberties such as emails and phone calls are now being watch closely, companies now have a bead on your computer usage, and can market things to you that you may want. The Muslim communities are being profiled more and watched more. Lot’s of hatred that was underlying, now exposed outright. We have seen this change, what will we see with this virus now? Old handshakes will probably go away or less used. We already had people that didn’t want to be touched, or touch anyone else. Social activity may be more controlled, such as concerts, ball games, any other casual meetings like just hanging out in the sports bar, eating at restaurants, or visiting a park like Disneyland, oh by the way they too shut down. Will we see virus detectors that only allow certain folks to come into a venue?
Final thoughts about Corona Virus CoVid-19- Right now this virus is here, and we must really re-evaluate our personal hygiene. So even though we don’t have all of the information surround this bug, we do definitely need to take heed to what information that has been given out to the public to curtail the virus, but most of all protect yourselves.

Yes if you can offer up a hand sanitizer if there is some available. Most folks now know the sensitivity of that nagging dry cough, and that sick feeling. If you are sick like that, you need to go home and get a doctor to diagnose you. You shouldn’t go to work with a sickness, that may spread throughout the office. Yes; I know that pay and compensation is the driving factor as to why you would want to work like that. The WHO or the World Health Organization has now declared this a pandemic or world wide risk. So we shouldn’t take it lightly like it is the regular flu, as we are getting different opinions on this everyday.
