NBA in the Bubble has been somewhat a unusual season. Take for example, the teams that got eliminated that were supposed to be in at least in the conference finals; Milwaukee Bucks, L.A. Clippers. Both of these teams just didn’t seem to be all there. You look at the Bucks, who wanted to boycott, the season. It just appeared as though their heart wasn’t in it after the boycott for social injustices. Considering for the most part, a lot of NBA players thought the bubble thing and the extension of the season due to the pandemic took a lot of steam out of most teams. The L.A. Clippers had people going in and out of the bubble during this time, and that has got to be a show stopper for momentum in getting your team ready to do battle.
The Clippers, was a shocker for them, especially up 3-1 in a series, and then give up 3 straight games. It appeared as though game 5 was the start of the Clippers not being clutch in the fourth quarter, and this continued the rest of the series. Personally I do not think their heart was in it at the start of the 4th quarter of game 5. Distractions like Lou Williams leaving the bubble to party, and Patrick Beverly leaving for a family emergency didn’t help their cause. NBA in the Bubble
