NBA in the Bubble-2020-Strange Season

NBA in the Bubble

NBA in the Bubble has been somewhat a unusual season. Take for example, the teams that got eliminated that were supposed to be in at least in the conference finals; Milwaukee Bucks, L.A. Clippers.  Both of these teams just didn’t seem to be all there.  You look at the Bucks, who wanted to boycott, the season. It just appeared as though their heart wasn’t in it after the boycott for social injustices. Considering for the most part, a lot of NBA players thought the bubble thing and the extension of the season due to the pandemic took a lot of steam out of most teams. The L.A. Clippers had people going in and out of the bubble during this time, and that has got to be a show stopper for momentum in getting your team ready to do battle.

The Clippers, was a shocker for them, especially up  3-1 in a series, and then give up 3 straight games. It appeared as though game 5 was the start of the Clippers not being clutch in the fourth quarter, and this continued the rest of the series. Personally I do not think their heart was in it at the start of the 4th quarter of game 5. Distractions like Lou Williams leaving the bubble to party, and Patrick Beverly leaving for a family emergency didn’t help their cause.  NBA in the Bubble

Miami Heat, has a great chance of winning this whole thing; mostly due to the fact that every game they have played is practically a home team game for them. Watching Jimmy Butler play the way he does and lead the team is a majestic epic to watch. This man is Dr. Clutch, and he has proven this every game he has played. They already have a 2 game advantage with Boston in the Eastern Conference Finals, and they play with no fear of anybody. Right now, they are the only team that plays with this type of attitude. Sure the Lakers got Lebron and Anthony, and they are playing as expected, so they should be their at the end. Miami is just showing,” bulldog attitude”, in all the games they have played.  NBA in the Bubble

It will very interesting to see what Denver has for the Lakers. It will also be interesting to see what the Lakers got for the Nuggets.

So, with this all being said, should the League look at doing this again in the future, but at a more neutral cite, other than Florida?  How about Kansas City, right smack dab in the middle of America? No one has home court advantage, you can’t leave the facility during the playoffs, and very little crowd.  Ha Ha, just joking. It is already enough that the NBA is missing all that damn fan revenue as it is.  Yes this season as you would all know will go down in history with the asterisk.  Despite the circumstances, there is still some great basketball being played and all we can hope for is that this continues.  Yes, before this all happened we were all looking at the L.A. vs. L.A. matchup (probably too good to believe) to happen. and the Bucks meeting up with the winner in the west. , one of the L.A. Teams. Just goes to show, while the paper analytics are great, you still have to play the games.  Look out, it appears as though Miami, may win it all. Miami is the street fighter in these playoffs.  Check out Lestalksports.com
