Joshua gets Revenge

Joshua gets Revenge on Ruiz Jr. in the Saudi’s on Saturday Night. When you compare this to the last fight, you see a much improved  Joshua, who stayed away from Ruiz. The last fight he just seemed to offer up his chin at will to Ruiz, thus Ruiz wins the title. Now Ruiz was already packing the pounds, but in this fight he packed even more pounds, as he packed on another 15lbs to his weight now at 284lbs. Amazingly you reflect back on that last fight, and you have to say that Joshua was clearly unprepared. In this bout he was better. Much better, as he completely shut down Ruiz in a dominating tactical masterpiece to regain his three heavyweight world title belts by lopsided unanimous decision Saturday at the rain-soaked, 15,000-seat open-air Diriyah Stadium in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. Watching the fight you still got to give credit to Ruiz Jr. even though his weight is on the heavy side, he has excellent boxing skills. Should Ruiz Jr. lose about 25lbs, he could easily be a terror in the Heavyweight Division. He has a fearlessness about him that reminds you a little of Smokin Joe when he gets going.  Joshua lost about 11 lbs since the last fight, and he was more into business more than ever; compared to all the modeling, and extra curriculum stuff he did back in the states during the last fight. Joshua seemed more concentrated in this fight than the last fight.  This heavyweight division has a lot of talent. See Division rating

So it will be interesting who will be these fighters next contest; could it be Deontay Wilder? Wilder will be looking to fight Tyson Fury. Wilder wants Joshua badly so he can have all of the belts. Of course there are mandatory fights that the Champions have to fulfill, and skipping to get Joshua probably won’t be happening. Maybe Ruiz Jr. wants to get a rematch again. Only time will tell! There are some up and coming fighters in the heavyweight division and will be interesting as to who will submerge. Check out lestalksports.com for comments and opinion’s.
