NFC East 2020-Pitiful Situation- The NFL season is pretty much into full swing with every team about 10 games under their belts. You have the Pittsburg Steelers running away with a 10-0 start. Every game they have played, they have pretty much master each game. You have the Chiefs, Saints, Rams, and Seahawks competing to get to the playoff’s with decent records. Then you get to the NFC East, who for some reason can’t even break 500 ball. Washington football team, has the lead in the east by percentage points with a paltry 4-7 record. Looking at all of the teams in this division, such as the Eagles, Giants, and Cowboys, it is a good chance they will never even see 500 ball this season. The last team to see accomplish this feat was the 2014 Carolina Panthers with a 7-8-1
Talking about futility, it even appears as though the the winner in this division may only get 7 wins to go to the playoffs. Giants have played decent ball, but have lost close games. The Cowboys, you don’t know what to expect since loosing Dak Prescott. The Washington football team, has been sort of a wildcard, up until they got Alex Smith back. This team may end up winning the division. The Eagles don’t know which way is up. They loose close games, they turn the ball over in crucial scoring drives. This year with the pandemic in the forefront, has been a, “what is going on type season”.
If any of you are a sports fan of these teams, just go ahead and chock up this year as a loss. None of these teams will be playing ball deep into January, and if they do, it would only be because the 2020 is over. Tell me what you think.
