NFL 2019 Week 12
NFL 2019 Week 12 Last Thursday started football week 12, where we seen the Colts met up with the Texans. This was a pretty competitive game for Thursday night although there was some controversy surrounding the last minute of the game about a fumble which could have turn the results another way, but it didn’t. First hand look at the alleged fumble appeared to be called correct. Texans win 20-17.
The game that I was waiting to see was the Seahawks vs. Eagles. Heading into this Philadelphia’s inactive list was loaded with offensive players. I guess that is why they loss. Wentz just seemed to have a terrible game, and I would blame it on the inconsistency of keeping health players on the field, as well as Wentz not having a good game at all, 2 fumbles, and 2 interception and yes his QBR was horrible at 80. The fan base seem to have a negative outlook on Wentz, as to wanting to sit him, trade him. Oh how we forget of when he was getting considered for MVP back in 2017 until he got hurt. The Eagles hopefully will get their act together after this 17-9 loss. On the positive side, you must admit that in the last two games, Brady, and Wilson also looked bad, as the defense had stepped up. The offense is lacking right now, and you can only hope that the Eagles, get healthy again. The road is laid out for them, as Dallas lost to the Patriots in a close game 13-9, and the Eagles next few games are a lot easier or so they say. The Patriots took it to the Cowboys in inclement weather that they are use to, but the Cowboys are not 13-9. This NFC East Division is horrible, and it appears this will go down to the wire as to who will win this division. On another note, the San Francisco 49ers manhandled the Packers 37-8. When you can keep the likes of Aaron Rodgers from getting to you, you have done something. This 49er team along with the Saints, Vikings and the Seahawks, are the crème of the crop coming out of the NFC. When you look at the AFC, all you can say is: Lamar Jackson and the Ravens, as they trounced the L.A. Rams on Monday night football 45-6. This was more of a game to watch Lamar Jackson in action on the field. That was a treat in itself. His Box score QBR was whopping 148.5. Lamar Jackson seems to read the defenses effortlessly. Looking from the pocket at one time he seen a lane open up by the left guard, and he ran straight up that lane with no hesitation. When he gets in trouble, he is fast enough to get out of the pocket. On the AFC side of the fence, it looks like it will be a race between the Patriots and the Ravens in getting home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
