NFL 2019 Week 3

NFL 2019 Week 3 –  Kudos to the Giants this NFL 2019 Week 3, as they were able to come away with a win using there new QB Daniel Jones. Unfortunately they lost Saquon Barkley to a ankle injury for the next 4- 8 weeks sources say. The question is: Is Eli happy? Only time will tell. After beating the Bucs 32-31, will the Giants get on a roll? They face the Redskins next week and as we speak the Redskins are getting spanked at home by the Chicago Bears 21-0 at halftime NFL 2019 Week 3.

The Cowboys continued their winning ways trouncing the lowly Miami Dolphins 31-6. Next week we will see what the Cowboys are made of when the Saints host the Texas wonder boys at their home in NOLA. I have said it before the Cowboys have not really been given a challenge yet. Should the Cowboys come out with a win here, you can bet your bottom dollar that these boys will be on a roll the rest of the season.

Then we have the Green Bay Packers who are now packing a 3-0 record. They beat the Broncos 27-16 in the cheese factory. These Green Bay Packers look good, and you will get a chance to see these guys on Thursday night Football with the visiting Eagles, who by the way have been hit with the injury bug. The Eagles tried their best to do to much with little that they have against the Detroit Lions who are now 2-0-1 thanks to their win in Philadelphia. Lions beat the Eagles 27-24. The Eagles have been competing in the last two games, but just don’t have the muster to put up the points and hold the ball with some key personnel out. Are the Eagles playing these 1st few games like pre-season? Will they try to get out their funk against the Packers this Thursday? They may still have plenty of injuries walking into this game. Even the guys that playing are the walking wounded. As a Eagle fan, I still hold out hope that they will be on a tear, once these key players come back from injuries.

The Vikings took it to the Raiders in good ole fashion style 34-14. The Vikings are also another team that looks to be going into the right direction. We shall see next week, when they take on the Chicago Bears in Chicago. Right now it looks as though the Bears will be sporting a 2-1 record when they meet up with the Vikings. Monday night football can be cruel to those teams on the next Sunday; we shall see.

The Ravens and the Chief proved to be a pretty good game. The Chief ended up taking this one over the Ravens 33-28. Both of these teams look good and will probably progress to be better each and every week. The Chiefs will look to increase their winning ways next week when they meet up with Detroit. Should Detroit pull this one out at home, look at Detroit more seriously as a contender in the league.

The Jaguars beat the Titans 20-7. Both teams are 1-2. Are these guys pretenders or contenders, only the season will tell.

The 49ers didn’t look that good at home like they did on the road, but mind you, they were able to pull one out at home over the winless Steelers 24-20. Right now don’t rule out the Steelers regardless that they don’t have Roethlisberger, Coach Mike Tomlin will find a way to get these guys on track. The 49ers have a bye week. Will we see the continued success after the bye, or will we see some rust. They will face the Browns on Oct 7 Monday night football. That should be a interesting game!

Although the Browns looked respectable, they didn’t have enough to beat the high flying Rams. The Rams defense seems to be getting better and better each week. Look for the Rams to meet up with the Buccaneers in L.A. The Buccaneers lost that close one are probably stinging a little with attitude. Will the Rams go to sleep on the Buccaneers?

Andrew who? The Colts beat the Falcons 27-24 yesterday. The Colts right now are 2-1 and probably should have been 3-0 had it not been for there 1st game of the season against the Chargers who yesterday dropped one at home to the Texans 27-20. What is happening to the Chargers, hopefully they can turn it around next week against the lowly Dolphins.

The game that I was shocked by was the Saints winning over the Seahawks 33-27 in Seattle. Sean Payton is not hurt and his coaching and preparation continues to be the best in the league along with the master Bill Belichick. Look for the Saints to continue their winning ways next week against the Cowboys. I expect some weaknesses to show up for the Cowboys in this game. We will see.

The Bengals dropped one to the Bills who are undefeated now at 3-0. Look out New England here comes the Bills next Sunday in Buffalo. The Panthers without Cam won there 1st game of the season beating the Cardinals in good fashion 38-20. Let’s see what the Panthers have next week against the Texans. NFL 2019 Week 3

We will be going into the 4th week of the season, the New England Patriots continue to be the class act of the league. Kansas City is no slouch, and all other teams well; we will see! NFL 2019 Week 3
