NFL 2019 Week 7- it seems as though Thursday was a while back when we seen the Chiefs dismantle the Broncos on Thursday night 30-6. Regardless of the fact that they did it without Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs appeared as though they were back to what they were used to doing and that was winning. Actually they played the Broncos and that was what bought them back to winning. No slam on the Bronco’s, but they just don’t have what it takes to win right now. The real test for the Chiefs will come on Monday night football next week, as they face the Green Bay Packers. I look for this to be a close game with the Packers pulling this one out. Looking at the past Sunday night game, the Eagles vs. Cowboys; a rivalry that goes back years, the Cowboys showed up in good old fashion beating up on the Eagles 37-10. A lot of Philly fans are upset with the outcome of this games, as well as how the season has been going. Yes going into this game you would have Dallas favored, the line was -3 Dallas; but the Eagles just did not perform at all. https://www.facebook.com/MEMES.of.the.NFL/videos/519058372221034/?t=0 Dallas is back on to their winning ways again, and will see a bye week come and go next week. This should get them either healthier so that they can continue their drive to win the East or not? We shall see.
Well as the video displayed that what a lot of the fans feel like. Philadelphia gets to the bye week, but before getting there they face Buffalo and this year they are no joke; so hopefully some of these injuries that they have will take care of themselves and have them ready in week 9 against the Bears, who just suffered a loss this past week to the Minnesota Vikings, who now have shown me that they are for real, and will be meeting up with the Washington Redskins this Thursday, look for the Vikings to win. Unfortunately for the Lions they didn’t have enough juice for the Vikings, but we should look for the Lions to, “right the ship”, next Sunday when they meet up with the New York Giants who loss to the Arizona Cardinals 27-21 in their home confines. The Arizona Cardinals are doing pretty well, playing 500 ball. These Cardinals will meet up with the Saints in NOLA next week. Look for the Saints who beat up on the Bears this past week to win this game with the Cardinals. How about those Rams, they were not going to go down another week, as they beat up on the hapless Falcons 37-10. The blarring stat here was that the Rams rushed for only 90 yards, vs. the paltry 38 yards they gave up to the Falcons. The Rams should have no problems at all beating up on the winless Bengals next Sunday, who dropped another ball game to the Jaguars 27-17. The 49ers went into Washington and pitched a shutout to the Redskins 9-0. Maybe because of the inclement weather, the 49ers held back on their scoring. Nevertheless a win is a win.
The 49ers are probably favored to win in San Francisco next week against the Panthers who just came off of a bye week. The Cam has been practicing, who knows; but still look for the 49ers to continue their winning ways. The Ravens went into Seattle and won against the Seahawks 30-16 Neither QB had a great QB rating in this game. Speaking of QB rating how about that Aaron Rodgers Rodgers had a great game. he had 5 touchdowns, including a rushing TD of his own. Green Bay has been looking hot; they beat up on the Raiders who just came off a bye week 42-30. You talking offense these days just look to the Pack as they continue to put up the points. The Buffalo Bills continued their winning ways as they beat the lowly Dolphins 31-21. and then we had the Indianapolis Colts (Luck Who) win against the Texans 30-23. The Colts are no joke, look for this team to be in the playoffs this year. Now lets talk about the luckless L. A. Chargers, who probably should have won that game. This is a team who really has no home field advantage, so they virtually play on the road every week. Seconds were left in the game agains the Titans and 2 times they tried to get into the endzone from a couple of yards out with no luck. You want to talk about hard luck team, this is the one. Maybe the Chargers have better luck with the Bears next week. Finally we get to the team of, destiny, the team that just keeps rolling along, the pride of the NFL, the greatest team in the 21st century, despite their easy conference, yes the one and only New England Patriots! The took on the Jets, who you would have thought would have given the Patriots a game to remember, since they put it on Dallas’s posterior last week. Alas, the Jets reverted back to what they were prior to meeting up with Dallas; as they got trounced by Patriots 33-0. Sam Darnold, uhh what a stink up of a game he played. He passed for 86 yards, 11 for 32. Sounds like the QB’s they were using prior to Sam coming back.
The teams that look like they are for real are the undefeateds such as New England, and San Francisco. Then we have the emerging Green Bay Packers and the New Orleans Saints in the NFC, and the Kansas City Chiefs, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC. What is your opinion?
