Corona Virus CoVid-19- Shutting down everything

Corona Virus CoVid-19 Shutting down everything and can you imagine back in January we would be where we are at today. The big kicker started with the NBA wanting to play games in an empty arena, but that changed shortly once Rudy Gobert was diagnosed with this disease. In the midst of starting the late games on Wednesday night, the NBA decided to shut it all down for a while, by declaring they would suspend the League’s play. Wow! Okay that was a kicker, but then several other leagues started to think this out and …READ MORE

Kobe Bryant memorial on Monday? Here’s how to watch

Monday’s memorial service for Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna, who were killed along with seven others in a helicopter crash last month, will be steeped in symbolism. The jersey numbers of the basketball legend and his budding prodigy — 24 and 2, respectively — are intrinsically rooted in the details. Everything from the date of the event — Feb. 24 (02/24/20) — to the ticket prices — $24.02, two for $224 or $224 each — relates to those special numbers. Twenty thousand mourners will fill downtown Los Angeles’ Staples Center — “the house that …READ MORE

Kansas City wins Superbowl LIV-beat 49ers 31-20

Kansas City wins Superbowl   Kansas City wins Superbowl. This was a pretty good Superbowl game, as the Chiefs closed the books on the 49ers late in the 4th quarter 31-20. The 49ers were in a good position walking into the 4th quarter with a 20-10 lead. Most Chiefs fans probably had the sinking feeling at that time, and even after Mahomes had thrown his second interception, it really appeared as though the 49ers were in total control. The Chiefs caught a break when Mahomes hit Hill for a 44 yd pass play to get …READ MORE

NFL 2020 Championship Games-Superbowl is Next

NFL 2020 CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES-Sunday came and gone, and we had some blowout games. It appeared as though only 2 teams showed up Sunday. One, the Tennessee Titans who we expected to hold the ball with the spectacular play that we had seen out of Derrick Henry over the last two playoff games got calmed down as the Kansas City Chiefs put together good offense that ended the Titans climb to the Superbowl game. Kansas City total yards; 404 to the Titans 295. The Titans didn’t look bad, they just didn’t have the juice to beat …READ MORE

NFL Divisional Playoffs 2020-Surprises Abound!

NFL Divisional Playoffs 2020-started off pretty calm as the 49ers met up with the Vikings. There was a minute there that the Vikings looked like they were going to give a good game, but again that only lasted a minute. The 49ers who always led the game, broke it open with defense and a 13 pt scoring second half, to outlast the Vikings in this one 27-13 49er win. Both quarterbacks were average in this game and basically evened out the outcome. It was the defense that rose up for the 49ers. Look for …READ MORE

NFL 2020 Playoffs-Wildcard Weekend

NFL 2020 Playoffs – A wild Saturday and Sunday from NFL Playoffs brought us some great games. Starting off with the Buffalo Bills vs. Houston Texans. This was a game that could have went either way. The Bills started off with a 16-0 lead but the Texans would have none of this as they managed to outscore the Bills 22-6 in the final half to tie the game and then eventually went on to beat the Bills in overtime with a field goal. The amazing part of this was that the Bills had the Texans …READ MORE

NFL Week 17- What a Season to Talk about!

NFL Week 17–What a season! The last of the NFL 2019 season has gone by, and the intrigue will begin next week with the playoff’s beginning. Looking at what transpired during the season you would have never guessed that the 49ers would be the number one seed in the NFC. How about the Antonio Brown affair, where he started out with the Raiders, went to the Patriots and then out the league. Then there was Le’Veon  Bell who ended up with the Jets and really was just average compared to what we had seen in …READ MORE

NFL 2019 Week 15- More suspense in Playoff Hunt

NFL 2019 Week 15 – The season is drawing close to the end, and as we had expected the Baltimore Ravens are still playing extremely well. Thursday night football had the Ravens beating up on the New York Jets 42-21 and believe me it was even that close; the Jets scored 14 pts in the 4th quarter, mostly due to the Ravens putting in some subs probably. Lamar Jackson looked good as ever despite the rumors that he was questionable prior to the kickoff. Jackson threw for 225 yards but had 5 td’s  and managed …READ MORE

NFL 2019 Week 14- Teams are Clinching spots

NFL 2019 Week 14 brought us some clubs clinching spots for the playoff’s. We all knew it; but the Ravens were a cinch to clinch. They beat the Buffalo Bills this past weekend in Buffalo 24-17. The Ravens still claim the number one spot in the AFC and need to continue winning in order to get the number one seed going into the playoffs. This means they will get a bye in the 1st round and then play 2 remaining rounds at home. We continue on and seen the Kansas City Chiefs also clinch by …READ MORE
